Table Lamp Must-Haves

I recently attended a seminar series where I was fortunate enough to hear from keynote speaker Abigail Ahern. AA is all about materiality, texture, finishing touches and elevating your spaces. One thing she is not shy about discussing is the use of multiple types of lighting in a space and in particular the use of lots of lamps. I was left thinking more is more when it comes to low ambient light. So I went home and added a few extra lamps to my space and was surprised at the shift in mood.

So why not turn off those big bright down lights and embrace the soft, moody lighting in your home. This could be through the use of floor lamps, table lamps, wall sconces or even portible LED lamps.
